The Catalan Water Agency (ACA), a public entity of the Government of Catalonia, has adopted GICA0 for the execution of all its types of inspections across all its jurisdictions.
The ACA is responsible for implementing water policy in Catalonia, encompassing both the planning and management of water supply and sanitation, as well as the conservation of related ecosystems.
One measure to facilitate the transition to a paperless office and improve the quality of inspections of both polluting establishments and environmental sites has been the implementation of GICA0 within the inspection process:
On-site Inspection – GICA0 – Internal Systems
GICA0 will be responsible for delivering inspection reports to inspectors’ laptops and returning them to their internal systems via a fully automated communication system.
