The Catalan Water Agency (ACA) has integrated GICA0 as an information management tool across various areas of its sanitation department.
The modules implemented are as follows:
Structural data of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), drying plants, and composting plants
- Management of structural data for different plant types:
Data of Process
- Automatic import of operational data using monthly exchange files.
- Export of information to the data warehouse.
- Generation of customized reports using templates.
Analyses and Laboratory
- Automatic import of analytical data using monthly exchange files.
- Integration of waste analysis results with third-party tools.
- Generation of customized reports using templates.
- Complete management of laboratory samples.
Waste
- Management of sludge movements and acceptance forms.
- Sludge classification according to origin and according to their management type.
- Possibility of introducing information to the Competent Authorities and operators.
Incidents
- Management of incidents related to the different types of plants (sanitation, drying, or composting).
- Issuance of notifications to those affected.
- Management of issued notifications and proposed actions.
- Semi-automatic synchronization of incidents between GICA0: Competent Authority (or operator) > ACA
Tankers
- Automatic import of tanker data received through the monthly exchange files.
