Recently, the management and control of the chain of custody of inspection samples has been improved, allowing their information to be completed both from the inspectors’ laptops and from the gica0 server. This extended management allows for tabulation of:
- Predefined observations
- Container type
- Datalogger
For each sample, we can store the following information:
- Preservative or fixed agents used
- Container type
- Date, time, and datalogger of the first transport (from the field to the refrigerator)
- Date, time, and datalogger of storage
- Date, time, and datalogger of transport to the laboratory
- Responsible organization and name of those in charge of transport to the laboratory and of the laboratory itself
- Sample status
- Temperature of Arrival
- Observations of the sample’s entry into the laboratory
Additionally, we will have the same control for referral samples.
